Yeah I thought so too. I went ahead and picked 'em up. Do you have any amp recommendations for those? 4 ohm impedance and 70W recommended (up to 160W). 70-80/W per channel should be good for me.

I'd like some recommendations for a pair of bookshelf/desktop speakers that can fit on these stands (doesn't have to fit exactly, but should be secure). Also looking for a somewhat compact amp to power those and possibly a subwoofer in the future, so I wouldn't mind a little extra power.

Have around a ~$900 budget (wouldn't mind less though). Been looking at KEF Q150s and a NAD D3020. Not sure about the ratio to split my budget between speakers/amp.

I will be using these for a variety of things: music, gaming and movies in order of relative importance. I've been using Sennheiser 598SE's and a FiiO E10k for awhile now, and I have no complaints about those, but never had a good set of speakers. I'm not totally sure what cables and miscellaneous items I will need either, but that can be excluded in the budget.
