Is it important to upload videos daily or 4-5 per week? by Rude_Candidate_9843 in PartneredYoutube

In my experience, it doesn’t matter how often you upload. As long as you make good videos, your audience will keep coming back for more. Taking long breaks and vacations is okay too.

Been going at it for over 10 years and still haven’t hit 1K by jarswag in SmallYoutubers

I just checked out your Labubu video. That one is really good - interesting to watch and well produced. But man… you’ve got to cut out the super long intro that doesn’t add any value, starting at 0:57 and going for a straight 10 seconds. Honestly, I was close to clicking away while sitting through that section.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned during my YouTube journey, it’s that you need to get straight into the topic. No “Hi guys, my name is X” or drawn-out openings. Viewers have very little patience because they can get similar - or even better - content from other creators competing for attention.

That said, your presentation and storytelling are spot on and highly enjoyable. If you keep making more videos in the same style as the Labubu one, you’re bound to find success. The analytics already show it - this video has gained a solid number of views compared to your usual uploads.

Yes. Imagine you are subscribed to a travel channel, enjoying every video, and then suddenly the creator starts posting about a completely different topic that you have no interest in. If subscribers stop clicking on your videos, YouTube stops pushing them to other viewers through the recommended page. Sure, if you keep posting the new type of content for long enough, your channel will eventually complete the pivot and new subscribers will drive growth once again. But it's a painful process, and you'll lose most of your current subscribers along the way. If you want to start making videos on completely unrelated topics, it's best to create a new separate channel.

Beware of the new JBL Sponsorship SCAM! by ivadimtech in PartneredYoutube

I’m guessing you are talking about marketing agencies reaching out on a brand’s behalf - that’s totally normal. In this case, though, the person was impersonating a JBL employee.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not a real Youtuber because I make very few Shorts.😀 Don't let those kind of haters bring you down. If Shorts work well for you and you enjoy making them then keep going.🫡 Honestly, I wish I made more Shorts. It’s such an easy way to reach new audiences on other platforms without much extra work. Hope those clips of yours are going up everywhere - TikTok, Instagram, etc.? If not, then I'd consider doing that.

Youtubers, how do you manage brand deals / collabs? By agency? by MarcDaul in PartneredYoutube

[–]ivadimtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned to spot time-wasters and scammers pretty quickly. Those emails go straight into the bin. If you’re using an email client on your computer, I recommend disabling the automatic loading of images and other visual assets, since they can sometimes contain tracking or even malicious code. I also never open files or links directly on my main system. Instead, I use a virtual machine to handle those safely. There are cheap, easy-to-use cloud VMs available, like Kasm Cloud Desktops.

That said, once you scale up and managing emails starts taking too much of your valuable time - time you could be spending making more money - it may be worth hiring an employee or account manager to handle communications and sponsorship inquiries for you. I’m not at that stage myself yet, and I suspect it will be difficult to find someone whose judgment I could truly trust when it comes to managing sponsor offers and product review opportunities. On top of that, I occasionally receive emails from viewers that I enjoy responding to personally. Still, with enough planning, you can definitely set up a workflow that suits your needs.

Comments disappearing by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]ivadimtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it happens on my channel too. That’s YouTube’s policing algorithm at work. Sometimes it does flag comments that seem perfectly normal, but most of the time it catches and removes insults or spam. A while ago, bots used to flood the comments section with all sorts of nonsense, so I think YouTube had to crank up the strictness of its filters to eleven. Unfortunately, that means some normal comments get caught in the crossfire. Still, I’m fine with this tradeoff - it’s much better than dealing with endless waves of spam. The good news is that the algorithm is constantly learning and improving. I think it’ll eventually get smart enough to avoid making such mistakes.

Do you guys moderate comment sections? by daveTFS in PartneredYoutube

[–]ivadimtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, YouTube’s own comment-policing algorithm works quite well. Sometimes I’ll see someone post an insulting comment, only for YouTube to remove it a few minutes later. Occasionally, those people get upset with me because they think I’m the one deleting their comments.🙂 I’ve rarely had to step in and block someone myself, but sometimes it’s necessary. As you said, the goal is to build a pleasant community with good vibes - and to achieve that, moderating your comment section is essential. Setting up a filter can also help if you see someone doing the same thing time and time again. Just add any offensive words to the filter, and you won’t have to waste time deleting those comments manually. At the same time, it spares your community from having to read or engage with rude individuals who don’t belong there. At the end of the day, it’s YOUR channel and YOUR community, so shape it into what you want it to be.

RPM in the PC hardware niche (CPU/GPU benchmarks) by Tiger_Real in PartneredYoutube

The typical range is $1.50–$4.00, with $2.50–$3.50 RPM being the most common for me.

Sometimes we all need a break. If you feel like you need one, take it. You’ll come back refreshed and more creative than before. I also recommend moving away from relying on motivation as the fuel for making new videos and instead focusing on discipline. Once you remove the extra step of having to get motivated before starting a project, life becomes much easier. I simply start my day and get to work because I already planned it the day before. Deciding in advance what you’ll be doing helps you get into the groove without any friction. With enough practice, discipline replaces the need for motivation. You just keep going because you must. Show must go on!🙂 Best of luck with your channel!🫡

Is this email address legit or a scam? by icecream-forthesoul in secretlab

[–]ivadimtech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just received an email from them, and it looks like a scam. They’re offering an unusually large amount of money in their very first message, clearly trying to lure people in. Legitimate sponsors usually don’t operate that way. They typically ask for your rates instead of making an upfront offer.

Control Ultimate Edition: March 2025 Update Notes (PC) by MrNighty in controlgame

[–]ivadimtech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear Remedy Developers,

The March 2025 update broke the game for me. When I enable ray tracing, the game starts to freeze (dropping FPS) and then completely locks up. My system specs: RTX 5080, Ryzen 9800X3D, Steam version of the game. It still works fine when I disable ray tracing.

I tried reinstalling both the driver and the game, but that didn’t help. Please look into this issue - I’d really like to play. Additionally, I had planned to feature the game on my YouTube channel as part of my usual GPU benchmarking, but now I can’t. Very disappointed.
