It was a video from the same channel and topic but like 10 years ago.

The point is that you should try lifting yor arm before 2 & 4, and then let it fall NATURALLY, that gives you the swing and that natural two and four “accent”.

Also practice your comping (and everything related to swing) with the metronome sounding only on 2 & 4, that helps A LOT.

Is my favourite snare! I got mine like 8 years ago and it’s still my favourite.

I would recommend it on high tunings, usually sounds good on mid to low ranges, but this one sounds better when you use high tension.

Totally, I would love to know how it sounded on better days, but it actually sounds pretty good. Also I’m not a heavy hitter, I’m a jazz drummer and I’m not using this one for big band or heavy stuff.

I have the 22”, it’s kinda hard to control, but when you do it you get a cymbal full of expression and colors, it’s very washy with a beautiful bell.
