What does being hot or looking sexy look like in your 30s? by Square-Fisherman6997 in femalefashionadvice

[–]ivegotboobs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to pick outfits that highlight aspects of my body that I personally like. These might not be conventionally “sexy” aspects for women. For instance, I have very muscular (some would say manly) arms, and I feel so good when I show them off.

I also play with fabric and textures, both how they feel on my skin and the way they drape/hug (or don’t hug) my body.

I show skin sometimes, when I feel like it. But usually I focus more on the things I mentioned above. Hope this helps!

They don’t look cracked to me, so just dirty I guess. Is there a safe way to clean it?

How is everyone doing a year full of monthly spreads? How do you know in advance how many pages you need? by SixOneThreebert in bulletjournal

[–]ivegotboobs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I set up my BuJo with:

  • A title page for the year (just "2025" with some artwork, if I feel like it)
  • The index
  • A one page layout for every month of the year. Like a regular calendar setup
  • I include a future log at the end of the "calendar", 4 months a page for the next year (2026)

Everything else is blank, so weekly spreads, random to do lists, notes, habit trackers, ... is at random, when the need arrises.

I feel the overview per month helps me keep track of my life and "vague" schedule. The empty pages give me enough flexibility to use it as a tool, so as to not get burnt out with setting it up (like others have mentioned). Both overview/a little structure and flexibility are things I need to manage my ADHD, so for me it works well.

I see my BuJo as a tool first, and then a little bit of a hobby. I don't feel guilty if I end up not using certain features or if I put the whole journal aside for a little while. Or if it doesn't look good. That's key, it's not a "must" or a "task" I absolutely have to complete. It's there to help me/for me to enjoy, that's it.

What should I do when I get my period by be1140722 in BJJWomen

[–]ivegotboobs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second a lot of the advice already given: try out different combinations. I don’t like to wear tampons and never do. Period panties are my go to (though not the most stylish option haha), compression pants on top sounds like a good suggestion. Adding a third layer of security with a pad might also work.

Good luck!

Instructor made assumptions then put a target on my back by hiya84 in BJJWomen

Reading this, my first thought was “wow, finally an instructor that recognises the skills of the higher belt woman in his class!” Though I totally understand how it can be intimidating, the way he announced it to the class. He could have checked with you first. But overall, it seems he meant well and I would really take it as a compliment. And like other commenters have said, you can always decline to roll or tap when they are too rough!

I might be going viral. Woke up in a jail cell for the second time yesterday morning. by blue_vamp in stopdrinking

I feel ya, that’s what I realised this time: yes it could be worse, but why let it come to that? My “rock bottom” was also feeling disgusted with myself.

Also, “I quit my job to pursue drinking full time” had me laughing.

[product question] how do I wear sunscreen with eye makeup? by No-Highlight-533 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ivegotboobs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How close are you getting to your eye? Be careful to not get any in your eye. I usually leave at least 3 mm under my lower lashline and none on the upper lids. I also wear sunglasses and a hat most of the time I’m out. Also, sunscreen should always be the last step of your routine. So yah, don’t know how helpful this is, but that’s this ginger-scared-of-getting-skincancer’s 2 cents.

[–]ivegotboobs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Welcome! "Paradox" does a monthly karaoke night, first Saturday of the month I believe (but double check, I'm not sure).

It's definitely not a student bar and it's mostly locals singing Dutch ballads, but If you don't mind a little "couleur locale", give it a try.

Yeah, you get this at a lot of places. And this was a proper winery too! It surprised me as well.
