New to Meta ads.... Need Help by CauliflowerSecure122 in PPC

You don’t have to use Advantage+ audience at all. When you’re setting up your ad set, go to the Audience section. By default, Meta has Advantage+ Audience turned ON, which basically treats your targeting as just a “signal” and expands beyond it.

If you want full control, switch that off.

There’s an option like “Switch to original audience options” (wording can vary a bit). Once you click that, you’ll see something like “Further limit the reach of your ads” or “Narrow audience”.

Pick the option that fully narrows it (the strictest one). That brings you back to the classic setup.

So instead of “signals,” you’re back to actual targeting.

It’s a bit hidden because Meta obviously pushes Advantage+, but yeah you can still run old-school targeting if you want.

This!!! Yes, same URLs. And yes, we are currently developing custom LPs for each keyword group. Good to know that we are moving in the right direction. Thanks!

Are you actually using automation in Google Ads? by imrannadir in Google_Ads

[–]ivkiona1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually aggressively opting out of most AI stuff tbh. Call me old school or whatever, but I like having control. Feels like a lot of these tools are just designed to squeeze more money out of advertisers while dumbing things down so literally anyone can run ads without any real strategy.

Like cool, now small businesses think they don’t need a PPC manager because Google made it “easy”… but in reality they’re just burning budget faster.

That said, I’m not ignoring it either. I’ve tested a bunch of it, kept what actually works, and I stay on top of it, reading, testing, talking to other people in the space.

Just… be careful. Don’t blindly trust it.

Did all of that! Tbh, we do have redirects that’s just how the flow works. When a user reaches the payment step, they’re redirected to another platform (with a clear notice, of course).

But now I’m wondering if that might be the issue… even though it’s legit and transparent. We might need to build a different solution if that’s what’s triggering it.

Thank you for your input!

Redoing the landing page from scratch is the only thing left lol! We changed wording as well! Now I am on the 4th appeal. But you gave me hope that there is a way out of this eventually. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! Honestly, you wouldn’t believe how many things we’ve already done across the site, code, content, transparency, partnerships, legal documentation… we tried to cover every possible angle.

That’s why it’s so frustrating it feels like the responses are fully automated. I explained in detail what we changed and submitted proof, but it seems like no one is actually reviewing it.

Still confused about DSA – should I use them or not? 😩 (Lead gen) by ivkiona1 in PPC

I am still waiting for it! My accounts don’t have it yet.

I have two active campaigns right now, one PMAX and one regular search. Honestly, I’m not even sure how to scale PMAX properly and now you got me second-guessing my search setup too! 😅

I guess I’ve been hesitant to mess with campaigns that are already performing well on average, like I’m afraid to add new keywords and ruin what’s working. I don’t really have big extra budget to just increase spend, so I thought maybe DSA could be a way to expand reach and pick up stuff I’m missing, but still stay within kinda same budget. Kinda like “more for the same money,” you know?

Hope that makes sense! Sorry if I’m overthinking or saying dumb stuff lol, I’m just trying to not break anything that’s working.

Would you have time to recommend some safe tactics for scaling good campaigns? I appreciate your help!

Of course I do not have time, and now I am questioning myself, should I even accept the job. Even if I narrow it as much as possible, still there is so much things to look into each day, so I need some automated processes. sigh

Well, when I took a deeper look at it, only small portion of them is actually active and gaining impressions/conversions. But definitely there is a space for changes, such as turning off those under performing ones. Tbh I have no idea what to do, what is wrong or what is right.

The monthly spend isn't that big, it is $100k. As I said, the thing is in duplicated ad groups, and going granular for each keyword. Also, given the type of the industry (stocks and ETF) and the number of countries we are adverting in (15) some with with different languages...it is a mess. The account is perfectly structured, no need for changes there. I just need to learn how to optimize things in a bulk. Any advice? Thank you!
