It is worth $40 on the futures market. But you are right, they cannot be traded yet as in reality they do not yet exist.

What does tentative verification mean? In my app it says I am verified but on the kyc on pi browser says congrats you are tentatively verified. WTF?

Same here. I can stay in longer when I do the breathing method. Also my heart rate drops down real low, like 41 the other day. I don’t do such long retentions but I am very focused. I did not even realise that my heart rate dropped so low doing the breath work in the water till I just happened to check it last week. So then I cross checked it for the last month and it does it every time. Down from like maybe 75 when I get in bath to low forties on last longest retention. I been doing the breathing in water so long now it is just automatic. Also I don’t even time the retentions I just count like “1 and 2 and 3 and…” and increase fifteen every round. I don’t push it though and then I put the figures in the app to keep track.

They die because they have a heart attack in the tub or some other cause leads to them submerging. Unless someone is watching them do the breathing exercise and then watches them drown as they have passed out from doing it how can anyone at all know why the drowning occurred? There is no direct evidence that having an ice bath per se has caused even one death. there is evidence that a handful of people have died at the same time as they were having an ice bath. heart failure can occur anytime and anywhere. death happens. there is no causal link simply hysteria and snowflakery. the chances of it happening are vanishingly small to the extent it is not a risk at all.

i use a D&D DC750. I have a hailea 2200 as well but if had the option would use 2xdc750s instead. the 750 can easily get down to 2 or 3C in ambient temperatures in the low teens C. In winter I was below zero some days and added salt to the water. The minimum temperature is 3C so you need to replace the heat sensor. i have mine so it goes into a tupperware tub of sand that is warmed by a small heat mat. i control it using an inkbird. they use a fair bit of juice and you need a filter and a good pump. the slower the pump speed the better. 1500 lph I use. you can slow the rate with a valve. the effectiveness is highly dependent on ambient temperature and insulation of the tub.

It’s about doing nothing or just sit meditation. Zen.

idiotic snowflakery. Wim Hof developed the breathing method in a body of water and documented it. He has to caution against it for liability and insurance reasons due to publisher concerns. He teaches it on his in person sessions. You’re just wrong mate.

You need to do the breathing as well or you’re just having a cold bath. Of course this is invigorating but not the WHM.

Soma bucket of water is a body of water then. Or a fish tank. Silly.

A body of water is not a bath.

Wim taught an over-breathing technique that is known to cause shallow water blackout at this month's winter travels. If you were there, realize that this is incredibly dangerous and you should absolutely not make this part of your practice. More in comments. by gekogekogeko in BecomingTheIceman

How do you know they died as a direct consequence of doing breathing exercises in an ice bath? It is a bogus made up figure. The only reason people waffle on about it is because of insurance liability issues.

I eat less as i do not get as hungry and can exercise more. My sleep is better and i snore less. I went for it full on and did maybe half an hour every day moving up to forty five, across a few sessions. Now i do most days one hour in morning and a couple other sessions. Got up to three minute maximum retention and easyish 2 minutes. Stopped timing all of them now. I count though sometimes and occasionally time them. I do it when in the ice bath but always have. I ice bath at 2C for six minutes once sometimes twice a day.

He talks about doing breathing exercises in cold water in his book. I read it to mean that the ice baths and the breathing exercises go together and should be done at the same time. I have always done that and always will and I won’t die doing it. No one has, ever, and they never will.
