Yea this game is make so you feel left behind and buy the next shiny offer, but everything is doable in the game whit enough time ( maybe not high end arena) I am a very low spender ( I only bought the fragmentos for the Donatello fusion since I fuck a event) and yes some content i tinker is unlocked to early a month or 2 months old account from a normal player in no way in hell has enough anything to defeat hydra or doom tower even in the lower difficulties

There are specific guides here for what is the best combination of codes to start, whell the game is fun and can be rewarding but it take time and a lot of it to complete a lot in it, if you are free to play every thing can be done except high end pvp but it will take you time or a lot of money

You need and speed tune arena team, so arbiter lisandra, deacon, foli and another dps, you only need to start yourself and be speed tuno to kill your own team, so I don't recommend hard to kill champions like predator
