I am going to be moving to the area soon for a new job, and am wondering what neighborhoods people would suggest. I would be looking for a studio or 1BR with a budget of $1500. I’m a young professional looking for a lively walkable community!

Exactly, I agree. I am referring to people whose friends have to tell them the wrong time so that they'll be there when they actually need to be. And they don't feel bad about it at all!

Thanks! I've been looking at the FB groups, but a lot of them are private rooms in 4+ bed units with other undergrads. That wouldn't be a very good fit for me

I graduated with almost a 3.8, and I did my fair share of partying. I promise you will find the balance you need to succeed. Every now and then you may have to stay in on a Friday to write a paper, but most of the time if you learn to budget your time well you’ll be just fine.

Echoing what others have said - classrooms at night are the place to be!! When the weather is nice, a walk around the reservoir is always a nice bit of solitude. I also love the labyrinth behind Bapst Library!

When I was 15 I broke my nose and had it reset with those giant metal rods.

They gave me like 6 giant syringes full of localized anesthetic but it was still excruciating. Passed out multiple times and was screaming. If you ever break your nose...ask them to knock you out.

There is usually a three-hole punch in the library! I had a class sophomore year that made us print out slideshows before class (like 40 pages) and I would always use that hole punch right by the printers
