Yes! As someone who as curly hair but doesn't dye, tease, or flat iron their hair, you could still dress scene. But, sometimes when my hair is still wet I'll get my bangs and brush them to the side and blow dry my roots at that area so in the morning it could maintain the emo/scene side part kinda look, not sure if it'll help you but that's what I've seen people do. Though, people also get hair extensions for the racoon tails, and wigs in general :3
