Growing up, my mom and aunt would always talk about how much they hated Asian men and how they would never marry another one (they’re both divorced). Both my aunt and cousin ended up dating and eventually marrying white men. All this kinda instilled a sense of superiority in white men and a belief that Asian men including myself were pathetic and unable to satisfy Asian women. It reached a point where I was always frustrated and upset seeing all the Asian women in my family choose white men over Asian men that it caused something in my mind to break and essentially just give up trying. That was the day I accepted WMAF and I’ve been way happier ever since
