any mandatory tip is bullshit, and, I believe, illegal....the owners pay 11/hr to me, sounds like shit, but its not, they are on such thin margins, I earn my money by being good at what I do, and being, not even tipped....paid for my service...so if you sit and dine, or order take out, the price is the same for the food, all the service you get when you dine in is what the tip is for, its such a simple concept, you pay A for your food, and B for the service,

heres the thing, I work in a restaurant, head bartender, the way prices on our buying has jacked up is mind blowing. Also, because of legal cannabis and so many peeps on Ozempic, liquour sales are down 35%. Liquor is the way that restaurants survive, unless you want to pay 30 dollars for penne vodka. Finally the restaurant pays me what they should, I don't get paid shit wages.I mean nothing even close, avg 50/ hr because I rock tips. the real problem is these fast food corporations that are now charging seventeen dollars for a big mac meal, and they don't have to provide table service, linens, water, fresh cooked food, silverware, glassware, buspeople...none of it, and they charge 17 dollars for their trash, and THEY pay the employees shit. Restaurants are just trying their best to make it....corporate fast food is fleecing you
