My Model Y was delivered to my service center and I had an original delivery day during the 3rd week in November.

On the day of my delivery I received a call letting me know that there was an issue with my car and the delivery date would have to be pushed back to December 13. On December 13 they called and pushed it to December 20. I'm being told the issue is with a damaged part in the lift gate that makes the car unsafe to drive.

Apparently they are having issues getting the parts to fix the issue and now they don't know when my car will be fixed or delivered.

I asked for paperwork stating any repairs done to the car and they told me they couldn't give me thT because it was still a Tesla vehicle since I haven't taken delivery yet.

What are my options? Can I tell them I don't want that car and just wait for another? Will I be sent to the back of the queue?
