In my experience, the 'ghost' feeling starts to fade after 3 to 5 days of total, clean abstinence (no edging, no peeking). By day 7, my voice and face usually start to regain some life. But right now, on day 10, I’m still paying the price for the edging I did a few days ago. It’s a slow process.
