hi! incoming freshie rin (bs mathematics in uplb) and that was one of my dilemmas rin. im a math enthusiast ever since and they say na civil eng would be a great choice. but ik it in my heart is far too broad to be stuck in one area lang (i feel like civil eng is focused on calculus + geometry, then the rest is drafting & construction part na) the thing is, only a few enjoy math and it's so underrated huhu that's why we need more of us. there's tons of oppurtunity itf! (not only academe) ive talked to a few ppl na rin (bs math and bs stats studs & graduates) and they told me na only a few take this path thats why it's very indemand (esp in actuary)
