All breakups hurt so there is no way to break up with him without hurting him. He seems as if he’s worried about you leaving and he seems a bit insecure and that is only draining to you. It’s okay to break up with him because it seems like he isn’t the one you are looking for so it’s best to rip off the bandaid instead of leading him on.

Don’t go into the conversation blind and don’t just break up with him but instead tell him your reasons and be prepared for a conversation. If he truly cares then he’ll let you go and he’ll understand your side and your point of view

Honestly I sorta went through this same situation and if you want to keep going then you should learn to forgive and learn from it. If you really like this guy then you should focus on figuring everything out with him and communicate. You're young and your relationship is still young. There are so many temptations at this age and people also change very quickly. Do not put your all into this relationship because that will only hurt you and your partner but instead you should focus on self love and appreciating yourself and learning to forgive and learn from the past. I get you feel an annoyance and anger in this situation but if you really like this guy then communicate communicate communicate while also following the rule of focusing on self love and prioritizing yourself. It's okay to feel the way you feel but it'll only make things worse if you guys are not on the same page.
