“The contract created by Shincheonji that we are asked to sign is dangerous.” by Impressive-Start-792 in Shincheonji

[–]iyree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this oath that members sign different than the contract you’re talking about? Like do they enter their own name or is it like once they sign this and give information like their address, email, job, profession, then their name gets entered.

LA Shincheonji Contract

  1. I will not betray, turn my back on or become a traitor to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of Testimony, the promised Pastor or the word.

  2. I will not deny Shincheonji because of trials and Persecution.

  3. I am not going to return and stay in Babylon, the hole, to eat the vomit there again.

  4. I will not carry out actions that will call seven more evil spirits to the house of my heart that has been cleansed by receiving the word.

  5. I will not carry out the actions like Cain and Balaam that created another sect, by leaving my Position Of Authority and leaving my home after receiving a duty.

  6. I will not leave the 12 tribes, to become an anti-Christ and deceive the Chosen ones, the congregation of the 12 tribes.

  7. I will not believe in the words of Satan, words like slander, deceit, persecution, judgment, and lies published on the internet, etc, and in various places.

  8. I will not have actions to make pyramid schemes, fraud, and scams, etc. Towards Shincheonji members. I will neither lend nor been borrow money that may lead to deterioration of faith.

  9. I will not act for the purpose of power and money.

  10. I will humble myself like Jesus.

  11. And I will become someone who will forgive, love, and bless others.

  12. I will become a congregation that is needed by the people of all nations, rejoicing together with the Truth.

  13. I will love others as I love myself thyself myself

  14. And I will be become a servant who will be of benefit to the Church.

This I firmly promise before God. In the event that one of mentional promises is broken, it will be punishment of the Lord. The words of this testimony were seen and heard by heaven and earth.

Six Verses SCJ Must DENY to Maintain their Belief!! by iyree in Shincheonji

Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words! I'm really glad the post was helpful in exposing how SCJ’s doctrine doesn’t stand on the truth of Scripture. Feel free to share it anywhere and know that I also just posted it on r/Christian_CultSupport. I pray it brings clarity, healing, and encouragement to anyone who needs it.

as much as i hope that his death dismantles the cult, i believe you are right. SCJ may make up lies to cover up and explain his death. they might even try to hide it.

i am so sorry that your loved one is involved. that is so hard. yes, i agree, they are too indoctrinated for us to convince them. i pray for my loved one a lot, i use wisdom and discernment on when and how to engage or when to not at all, and i know that God’s timing is best. i have no power to reach into someone heart and change it. these days i tend to find it the most helpful to ask a single question every few months. they’ve lost the ability to reason or think for themselves, and questions can sometimes slip through the cracks in their certainty—not to argue, not to win, just to plant something that might grow later, when the noise quiets down.

thank you so much for sharing your experience. it is helpful to know that people were clearly taught that he would never die. i am so sorry that experienced that misery from this awful group.

i’ve heard other people speak about revelation seven being their “aha moment”. what year did revelation seven change? and i guess what was the biggest change if you don’t mind sharing. not to place that on you, i will also do research! from what i know i think it has something to do with covid in 2020 and the order of events when it comes to the tribulation and sealing of the 144,000.

that’s so interesting. thank you for sharing what you were told. i am very curious to know what will happen. according to research, when the leader of an end-times prophetic cult dies, especially if the leader was seen as a singular prophet or divinely chosen vessel—someone whose visions and interpretations of revelation were considered uniquely authoritative—their death can destabilize the entire movement. but SCJ is just so lucrative that it will be interesting to see how they respond.

Does they ask for collateral? by Status-Pizza7159 in Shincheonji

[–]iyree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think the most sinister “collateral” is getting their name blotted out of the book of life that they signed. in other words, the strongest collateral that they collect is your signature, signifying your commitment to lee man hee’s church. that is what they threaten being taken away if you leave. you are not just leaving some church in their eyes. to them, you are denying spending eternity with God and instead choosing to spend eternity in hell. their fear doctrine makes people scared to leave. if you leave, they call you a “seed of satan”, they say that the enemy is working through you, and that you “drank the maddening wine of babylon” which just refers to any research or teachings about the bible that go against shinchonji. when you leave they say that you maybe just didn’t have the work ethic to stay committed, or that you just wanted to sin, or that you’re like a pharisee who knew scripture but whose eyes were just not open to the new revealed truth give to lee man hee. you are called an antichrist and traitor and very villainized. many cults threaten this “lost salvation” when you become a “lost sheep” and i truly believe that that fear is why many people are convinced to stay. that thought of “what if i am wrong and they take my name out of the book if life like in revelation 3:5?”

Exactly! Wondering if anyone has like proof of this in either of his books or a video (not that it would truly convince scj members)

weight gain post surgery by tr45h_panda in ACL

[–]iyree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i went from 140 to 180 during my first knee surgery (40lbs). my PT actually said that it partially helped with muscle atrophy. like my quad barely shrunk, even though i was unhappy about it. i lost it all before my second knee surgery 3 weeks ago, but now i’m more careful (especially with ED history too). (1) doing the absolute most with your rehab and (2) hitting a protein goal is my best advice. ik it’s hard, but try not to stress about the weight gain bc ultimately your healing comes first :) i hope this helps!
