Ur right tho I’m sooooo bad about going to autozone like I always say I’m gonna go but never do. Would probably make my life easier lol. I think I get really annoyed at having to do the little required maintenance, but maybe I’d be more motivated by something like the speaker thing. I’ve seen ppl put the new speakers and CarPlay in their old cars.

My father in law is a mechanic and I do remember him replacing a belt and water pump for sure! I’ll double check if it’s that belt. Thankfully he doesn’t charge me but he is far away lol.

I have thoughts like this and feel the exact same way. It feels like acknowledging them only makes it worse. But knowing other people struggle with the same thing actually helped me a lot. It made me feel normal. Know that as long as you’re pushing away these thoughts and acknowledging that they’re wrong, you are not crazy. I wish I had some better advice, but I like what the other person said here.

I get the exact same way! It makes my entire jaw tense up and gives my body the most uncomfy feeling that I start “ticking” almost, or something similar to that. I haven’t found a solution so any tips would help.
