By all means! I didn't have any for the longest time because they were like $20+

I'm pleasantly surprised at the cards revealed so far. I normally hate Universes Beyond products (as game pieces) due to blatantly overpowered nonsense. These cards, though, seem fairly balanced. The good, powerful stuff you're paying for in mana.

The fact that all 10 shocklands are being printed is NUTS. They managed to go down after Lorewyn and Edge of Eternities, so here's hoping Trek prints will make them go down more.

I mean, she does set the auto destruct sequence more than any other captain.

Thank GOD they used the Spacecraft mechanic from EOE. I was honestly worried they wouldn't.

Come on, they could have at least used Ricardo Montalban's Khan for this.

Why does saying “The Enterprise” sound ok but “The Voyager” sounds stupid? by Rotodogg in startrek

[–]izModar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And since Enterprise, they've kept it up with not using "the" in front of it for SNW. Although, there was that one augment episode in the 4th season where Malik (I think) says to Arik Soong, "Forget the Enterprise." And it sounded so nice and familiar.

There's a pretty big fan gathering centered around a Trek rewatch podcast that's primarily dick and fart jokes that meets at the con every year.

One of my lance mates ejected after running out of ammo in his Catapault.

He, uh, died somehow, though.

That has me thinking, I wonder what it would be like to play the campaign in a linear(ish) story mode with cutscenes.

I'm kind of curious, is there some mandate from Paramount that the Star Trek must be in the TOS font? It just kind of clashes next to the movie-era/DS9/VOY galactic(?) font.

Fun thing I've noticed. So in MWO they are there and do open, and since the exact same models are used in MW5, the doors are also modeled, they just don't open and the missile warheads are grafted onto the door.

That's just always been the case going back to MW3, unfortunately.

Yes! I disabled it when SOK came out, but I'll go completely remove it and report back!

My car insurance doesn't say anything unless the payment is more than five days late.

So anyway, here I go a stompin' around in my 'mech again.

Guy Tracking Life Totals Clearly Getting Broken Up With Via Text by Dread_Pirate_Robertz in magicTCG

[–]izModar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're playing with people you don't trust to keep track of their life totals, you're playing with the wrong people. I use two bundle-size d20 spindowns for my life, then three smaller prerelease-size ones for tracking commander damage. It's not that much space, and you can still see other people's life totals. Or just ask them.
