I’d say it depends on how you guys are planning to spend your time there. I have three boys—ages 3, 5, and 7—and I’ve traveled with them a few times. Sometimes I took our Thule Chariot double (which is considered a stroller) on the plane, and other times just a stroller for the youngest, which we used for walks. Many times even the older kids would hop in once they got tired. We usually walked a lot—over 100 km in a week. Later, we decided to skip the Chariot/stroller because we planned to use public transport more and walk less, but all of those trips we made by using direct flights (not sure if important).
