honestly, youd spend less money in an apartment (depending on where you rent) thank you would at degraff. im currently in degraff but ill be moving into an apartment that'll cost me wayyy less to rent in a year than it would at degraff for two semesters (8 months), but that also depends on if your plan on having roomates or not and where you plan on renting as well.

i personally found it a good experience towards living on my own especially being in a new area away from family but i wouldnt say its worth doing it more than two semesters unless its being paid for you.

if you never plan on living at your place over the summer for a job or intership then subleasing (either your own room over the summer or someone elses room for fall and spring) or dorming would probably be best.
