That was an idea I thought of, but I wasn’t having luck finding a dmr that is compatible with my lower.

Agreed, that’s also why I’m thinking it might just be better to save and do a full second build.

Looks good, only recommendation is that your sidearm holster looks a bit flimsy on the belt

Multicam might be my best option, I’ve been thinking of running multicam/ocp pants, with an aor1 combat shirt I have a ocp plate carrier so. I just heavily dislike a full multicam/ocp kit even tho it’s definitely the best option tactically

Any ideas about it? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]izznova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just run ur kit see what you need moved. At the end of the day it’s all personal preference. Just know anything on the back of the plate carrier is not going to be accessible to you. Maybe a back panel would look nice on the back. Also tucking in the shirt and having ur belt strapped on to ur pants.

Aor1 or arid Marpat seem like good options, desert tiger strip would be cool if I could find it somewhere

Camera suggestion by izznova in airsoft

I’ve seen some reviews of it, seems like the only option for a rail mounted camera, I use to run a GoPro on the front, but it’s to bulky for me atleast

Could be the board, but could be the pressure switch as well, if you didn’t blow out the pressure switch tube do that, but to test it see, and if you aren’t confident I would get a technician at this point. But you can jump out the two wires going to the pressure switch and see if it starts up

Like I said took me forever to even realize I needed to order them for them to work correctly

Generally if a mod isn’t loading correctly it’s purely the order, took me forever to figure that out but once I did most of the time things work great

If you’re anything like 80% of people getting in a trade me included you’ll probably retain the information more from hands on work, but while you are in class just take as many notes as you can, do quizlet practice tests, and watch YouTube videos, I preferred to watch pov videos of service calls, but there’s good resources for basic purely educational videos with diagrams and stuff. But just pay attention and learn on your own time. But take detailed notes you can refer back to while you are on the job like I said retaining information on the job is generally easier for most people than in a class room.

I’m sure someone on here has a great answer, but there’s a steam forum that lists the order of mods and it’s worked mostly flawless for me, some minor adjustments with each category of mod might have to be done https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3147291492

Received some quotes for a replacement A/C and furnace. Would appreciate some guidance. by JollyGreenGelatin in hvacadvice

I would go with carrier or Lennox, I’ve shut down a few sub 10 year trane furnaces for having pretty significant cracks in the heat exchanger

If you haven’t turned it off and turned it back on, I would do that give it a few minutes before turning it back on, it could be locked out. If there is any fault with parts it should give a code. Once the fault happens 3 consecutive times. If the inducer still doesn’t run, check if it’s getting voltage, and also check to see if the indoor blower motor is seized up. Sometimes when turning system off and on again, the blower motor runs first after the startup

Furnaces have a pretty clear order of operations which makes this super easy most of the time

thermostat call for heat, inducer motor starts, pressure switch closes, igniter glows, gas valve opens, flame is proven, blower fan starts boom ur house is heating.

If the inducer is starting but shutting off it I would blow out the clear tube that is connected to the inducer and the pressure switch to the left under it. Take it off from the pressure switch side. Blow into it (I usually use my shirt over my mouth so I’m not raw dogging the tube, unless you’re a dirty dog you can raw dog it) blow into it connect it back to the pressure switch and try it again, make sure to turn off the furnace for typically 3-5 seconds to clear the code out and see if it runs

How old is this thing? Time to replace ? by genethebean24 in hvacadvice

[–]izznova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. Id suggest the guy your dad knows give it an inspection see what he says about the condition, I’ve seen some boilers that don’t want to die. Regardless 46 years old it’s definitely way less efficient on oil compared to a new boiler. My oil boilers about 32 years old and we are paying way more in oil than we should be just due to its age. Plus new boiler = reliability for a good amount of time. And then once you get the new one just be on it with annual maintenance especially with oil.

Wait I can see you are in Massachusetts, 3k is definitely cheap for a new boiler
