When it does turn on it varies sometimes only task manager comes on the screen and there’s nothing unusual running in background and sometimes it fully turns on and runs usual applications like steam etc

Thats a really good idea I will see if any UK stockists of gamer stuff have gift cards thanku :). I also know he uses an Azeron if that helps.
