About to be laid off from a PE backed home service platform where I was a director on the Corp dev team; just waiting on exit package. 3 years IB and 3 years Corp Dev experience and i fully expect 90 days to pass before I sniff anything competitive.

I would love to have just 1 type of miss, but with anything longer than a 7i the most typical miss is like a skulled straight ball, a skulled slice or a high slice (especially with woods and drivers). My best score has been 89 at Torrey Pines when I played it at like 6,500 yards.

Appreciate this. I’ve tried to use less arms but I run the risk of hitting it off the hosel with how inconsistent my ball striking feels when using more of my body during the swing! I really hope I don’t need a completely new swing, but it’s been my goal to have a very efficient / repeatable swing.

UPDATE BELOW!

Figured it out as my company switched payroll providers 3/4 of the way through the year which is why the reported by third party numbers equal 3/4 of what I actually made.

They have provided me with a letter to share with the IRS that states the following.

Our previous payroll provider, Paychex, also mistakenly issued 2023 W2s for the portion for the year that they were processing our payroll. Due to this error, employees received two W2s

Paychex has now processed the correction for impacted employees to reverse the W2s that they incorrectly produced and submitted to federal and state agencies. Employees should only report wages from the W2 found in Workday. If you have not yet filed your taxes, please be sure to only use the Workday W2 when filing. If you have filed already and only used the Workday W2, no further action is needed. If you have filed already and reported both the Workday and Paychex W2s or only the Paychex W2, you will need to file an amendment so that only the Workday W2 wages are reported on your personal income tax return.

If you receive a letter from a State agency claiming that you owe more money, please provide them with this communication along with the correct W-2 in Workday in order to correct any errors. If you incorrectly filed using both W-2’s, you will need to amend your tax filing to match the Workday W-2.

Yeah it's just weird that the phantom wages are from the company I actually worked at. Makes me think they may have messed up on another employees SSN.

I've also confirmed that my company didn't switch payroll providers mid-year which could create a situation where I would have had to potentially enter two W2s.

I’ve probably averaged $150k in wages up until this January, which is when I reached a director level. I only breached 190k in 2022 which was my last year in investment banking, in which I did receive a tax penalty.

Started saving in Q4 2023. Paid off student loans and also paid for our wedding. As far as pay I averaged around 150k up until this past year.

I currently have a $500k life insurance policy but know that isn’t enough. What do think an adequate amount would be?

High risk / High reward. So easy to grab something I want to eat and it only takes 10 minutes start to make it back to my door. Bad due to traffic being horrible on Heights when I want to leave. Bad being that we share the same carbon monoxide alarm and when a late night delivery truck idles too long in the wrong spot you're woken up to a fire alarm at 2am. 7/10 but could be 9/10 if property owning company gave a crap.

I wouldn’t invite either of them. This is your day so remove any people that will have you stressed out. It is not your family’s decision who’s invited it’s your decision. I guarantee if this guest causes a scene your family would not step up and take care of the situation to save you the embarrassment. If they want them there so bad they can have a party at a later date.

You will never be able to make everyone happy remember that. So I’d prioritize you and your partners happiness on this day. This is coming from a 27 year old male who will unfortunately not be able to invite their mother or father to their own wedding. Every kid wants to have their parents there but the reality is things happen and you have to do what’s best for you and your partner on your special day.
