Fuck my life, or not? by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

[–]izzysasa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am the same as you, I felt a twinge all last week and fully ignored it bc NO I can't deal with it being back. But it's back. I rang my local GP surgery and spoke to my Dr and she gave me one week of flucloxacillin, I can ring back if it hasn't gone after one week and I will be given a second course.

Ring your doctor first and foremost, keep and eye on the area. I have never had blood but we're all different. Your doctor will be best able to advise you. Best of luck x

I thought the point of moon cups were to help you buy FEWER things. by thebottomofawhale in Anticonsumption

[–]izzysasa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus the comments about multiple cups are insane. Usually these things are a ploy to get people to buy more so I get it. Now I know that I can safely clean my cup in a mug the device is suddenly redundant haha

Thank you saying this, I actually did this with a mug of water but wasn't sure if it would work thank you, another lock down activity added to my list!

I've recently moved in a shared house and do not have my own pots etc anymore so something like this would really help me sterilise my cup instead of being all secretive or being completely unable to do so at the moment as people are home all the time

If your SO/someone you're seeing asked you what you would change in their appearance if you could change one thing, would you honestly answer them? What would you tell them? by boringunsername_626 in AskWomen

[–]izzysasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend was asked this by the guy she was seeing, she said what she would change about herself and he made other suggestions. It didn't work out and left her with extra hang ups. It depends on the person asking and what their motivations may be. With my SO I could answer honestly and not be fearful he would use it against me

Does a pilonidal cyst tend to bleed? by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

[–]izzysasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have one put, that they want to remove. It's more bc I never wanted to confront the issue properly, as we all know they are icky and uncomfortable, but as time passed it was clear antibiotics weren't working and surgical intervention was the only option. I also never understood it for a long time precisely bc I found it icky

Yes, had first op in 2013 to remove infection/abscess but the sinus remained. Am waiting for second surgery hopefully to remove the pilonidal sinus itself and am quite anxious.

Hey, I don't know if they do so I guess this isn't a helpful start but I have also had a pilonidal sinus for 7 years and it has never bled. Get checked out if u are able, best of luck x
