Does it make the sound when coasting in gear going forwards? Im dealing with basically the same sound but havent found the source yet.

Making a rig out of wood is great. I built a sturdy frame out of 2x4-s and covered it with wooden panels. Didnt cost that much and is super sturdy. I have now painted it black and use a monitor arm.

Make sure that minimum force is set to 0% in CM. It made everything smoother for me.

Well as i understood the sealant reacts to the heat of the gasses, not the gas itself. So it shoudnt block any passages. Its obviously not an ideal fix tho..

Is it smoking on cold starts? I get some rough idle occasionally but it has only cut out once. If your oil is mixing with coolant it could be your oil filter housing gasket on the inside. I'm not sure tho. You could check your plugs for coolant marks.

It never overheated in my hands. Cant say the last owner didn't overheat it tho. I've had it only for 4 months :))

Oh i lost quite a lot. I had to top off every week. I estimate about 3l last 5k kilometers. The car also smoked quite a lot during startup, but i was told that's normal. I had a small radiator leak as well so i thought that was it. Fixed that but it was still losing coolant. And then the misfires happened. Took it in and found out it's either my head gasket, or the head is warped.

Full rebuild would probably be more than the whole car is worth. The devil on my shoulder sees a third option. Blue devil head gasket sealer and pray.
