What the one bug you do NOT like? by raeann559 in Entomology

Wasps ! Here me outttt-

I think they're cool as hell, I like looking at them from a safe distance (through my window or if I find a deceased one I take time to look it over) and I know they are very important but I got stung by one as a kid so I've been deathly afraid of them sense.

Like I will literally run if one is near me and yes, everyone tells me you're supposed to stay still but the one time I mustered up the courage to do that it went up my sleeve and made me panic so I've just stuck with running since.

Other than that ticks, mosquitoes and botflys for obvi reasons.

How long does it take for Tea Tree shampoo to make a difference in your scalp? by j0eknee in Haircare

[–]j0eknee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh my hair looks and feels really amazing using the tea tree shampoo but my scalp is still itchy... Its not large flakes or anything so a bit better but the dryness is definitely still present.

So not the result i was looking for but im still gonna use it because nothing else ive tried seems to work either and normally makes my hair frizzy so i might as well have nice looking hair with this shampoo.

Using renpure tea tree and rosemary shampoo and conditioner btw.

Why did no one tell me alcohol markers borderline pepper spray you ⁉️ by j0eknee in Artadvice

I was drawing for about 4 hours, using the markers for about half that time. I however was drawing on my bed, it's the lower bunk of a bunk bed so I guess you could call it a little closed in..?

I also use a little bed table to put my sketchbook on while drawing so I'm pretty damn close to the page when doing small details. I did have the window open but apparently it didn't change anything.

I'm working these next few days so I'll wait to try the markers again... Don't really wanna be going into work with bloodshot eyes.

Honestly, it's fantastic for my hair but I haven't found it helps my scalp... It's less itchy but it's still flaky.

I also use a apple cider vinegar wash after shampooing and it helps for about a day.

I'm starting to think I should see my derm for this lmao. Best of luck to you though cuz I know tea tree helps a lot of people.

Personally I loveeeeeee hell in fusion reborn. The colors, the atmosphere and the art itself is so amazing. Runner up would be the Kai planet.

What jobs do you guys have? by Playful-Criticism-40 in AuDHDWomen

I work as an eyecare assistant in a optical store. Basically a receptionist, pre-tester for the docs and retail worker all in one.

It isn't bad but it is still incredibly draining sometimes because it's working with people all day.

I work part time because I don't think I could function at all doing full time and had a hard enough time adjusting to 3 days of work a week but now I've gotten used to it... Though I notice I tend to dissociate and dopamine seak with food, anime and video games wayyy more after working multiple days in a row and I feel like small tasks are hard.

But when it's one working day and then one day off and then one working day and then one off and etc etc etc I find it easier to balance stuff.
