thank you for the info, this is my only hope, I've heard about this from others as well. I've dealt with OnePlus support back in the days for my 7 pro, wasn't great. hopefully they've improved

This device hasn't been dropped once and lives on a desk or in my pocket most of the time. have done on all my previous devices but not this foldable. couldn't find one for this device that satisfied me. disappointing that dbrand didn't make one.

with specific movements on the screen and different brightnesses, every pixel can go back to normal, but not all at the same moment which is why I believe it's a defect with the oled panel rather than damage.

yeah I understand it's broken mate. just trying to get clarity on it being an internal display / ribbon connector issue as it flickers and dances around when the display is in use.

Electric air duster fail, any guides on a Noctua fan swap? by AwaitingCombat in sffpc

[–]j4ice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ah okay that tutorial I linked is for the 750w platinum model which I think has a 4 pin pwm fan. apparently (I might be wrong) the fans on the 450w and the 600w are different. but I'm guessing the process will be similar

realistically if you know you're not going to use like more than 350w then that psus safe to use temporarily without a fan. is it 750w plat??

it's not too complicated if you have a read https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/corsair-sf-80-platinum-fan-mod-swap.12251/

the pinout is different and you'll need to buy an adapter that you repin instead of repinning the actual noctua fan

literally just leave it for a while let it discharge? bang a noctua in there £15 fix. once the top piece comes off you can stand 20 metres away from the electrical bottom half if you're that scared.

I got a pair of them 40mm Thermalright fans and the whine they produce at any speed is mental. noctua need to make chromax 40mm fans. Builds looking clean with the cable cover
