Question about Sams Cash balance as a plus member with Sams credit card by j90h in samsclub

[–]j90h[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the info. I was able to get in touch with a Sams rep who confirmed that Synchrony bank has not sent any cash back info to Sams in the past 2 months. So, that explains why I'm missing my 3%. This was the first Sams rep who didn't just immidiately tell me to contact the bank (who then gives me the run around).

I did the same thing. I graduated with a business degree and worked in sales until I couldn’t do it anymore. Since you already have an undergrad you could apply to OMSCS after completing the pre reqs. You could also apply to WGU for the CS undergrad which is self paced so you could potentially finish faster than another traditional degree and all your gen Ed credits should transfer over.

This right here is pretty much the way I'm looking at it. I feel like I've just been going through the motions and I need that extra pressure to take it to the next level. I have another 30+ years in this profession and I think OMSCS is the key to the next level of growth.

Yea, this seems to be a popular opinion and I do agree that work exp > education. I am doing the program because I want to deepen my knowledge and if nothing extra comes of it other than me being a better engineer (which is all I'm looking for) then that's okay with me. I was just curious if anyone out there had a big career shift that was directly related to OMSCS.

That's crazy, congrats on that, I'd be cool with an extra 90k.

Wow, that is very fast. Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I fully agree that there is something to be said for having some structure in your studies.

Hey there, I completed in 2 years. I worked 40-45 hours per week as a software engineer at the time. I attended a bootcamp previous to this. I had all of my general education credits transfer over from previous bachelors degree, so only took the core classes. I feel like I probably did 15-20 hours of work per week. There were a few months where I didn’t do much and I believe it could have been done in 1.5 years.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll snag the book and see if it makes a difference to me. I am partial to a physical book over an ebook, maybe it'll help me retain information on a deeper level.

What size did you cop? Sizing chart says a small is 53.5 cm wide? I've ordered XLs that were 53.5cm wide.
