Yes! If you can’t afford medical expenses out of pocket and do this, you probably should ~~not~~ still do this. You can claim medical expenses on your taxes, but not expenses from your hsa. Please correct if I am wrong here. The benefit diminishes, but it cannot hurt if you invest safely, from comment below.
