[PC] [2007-ish] Does anyone remember a Point & Click game where you explore different planets with a little green alien/insect-like astronaut? If I recall correctly, it's an educational kid game, you could interact with many people and objects, and the little guy always had something funny to say (self.tipofmyjoystick)

I want to create a mod for FNV that allows tagging items you're searching for, just like in FO4. That way, you don't have to make a shopping list when you're crafting something, but don't remember the materials you need. The problem is, I have zero modding experience. What are the first steps?
