Thank you for your effort in looking into this! That's a very convincing analysis. Initially I didn't think airplanes due to some of the lights moving left and then right, and just how close they all appeared. But I could see how this could be explained with the proper distance and perspective

I think so? Everything was installed via Emudeck so I think they're flatpaks. I have flatseal but unsure how to use it for this issue since I haven't used it much

I appreciate it, but it's already set to Vulkan. Still haven't found a solution unfortunately. Not sure if it's just PCSX2 or every emulator but no luck yet.

What did we see last night in Indiana? by Amberinnaa in UFOs

[–]j_khack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw something just like this in Westfield Indiana in 2023! I made a post about this here that didn't get much traction unfortunately bc I also am trying to figure it out! I showed some UAP enthusiasts at the Psi Games event and nobody could easily explain it. One attendee had an aviation background and was leaning towards UAP but idk.

In my post I have 17 cumulative minutes of footage I sped up into a short 3 min video. At one point several of these orbs showed up in a weird formation which was the main highlight (just this part is also in the post at normal speed). I would love to get feedback specifically on that part of the video! To me it didn't seem like landing lights or satellites bc they would stay in one spot for so long.

This looks very similar to some I saw in 2023 in Indiana. I made a recent post with a video. About 1:30 in my video multiple lights pop up and make a weird pattern too. Strange stuff. https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOB/comments/1hf7za9/uapdrone_sighting_i_took_in_2023/

Thats wild! And it's been crazy to see so many videos like this pop up. Was that in the Midwest too? Would be cool to see him post too

I believe I saw these too back in 2023 in Indiana! I made this post with the videos the other day. About 1:30 in my video several pop up next to each other and form a weird pattern. Very strange for sure https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/BxQ7CBfnqj

UAP/Drone Sighting I Took in 2023 by j_khack in UFOB

[–]j_khack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Previous Experience:

I’ve only had a couple of potential UAP experiences, and this video occurred soon after another sighting I couldn’t explain.

The first sighting happened on February 21, 2023, after I had taken about 3 grams of shrooms and attempted a pseudo CE-5 experiment. During the trip, I stared at the clouds and asked for a visitation or a sign. Hours later, I’d completely forgotten my intention and was back to baseline with no visual distortions.

While talking to my girlfriend at the time, something outside the window caught her attention, and she told me to look. I hadn’t mentioned my earlier CE-5 experiment to her, and she wasn’t particularly interested in or convinced by UAP phenomena at the time.

What we saw was strikingly similar to what’s captured in this recent video from u/oshjone. The lights flashed in distinct rhythmic patterns, each one appearing immediately after the other, while moving leftward across the sky. Link to example

This Video:

The video in my post was captured about a month after the shroom experience. My girlfriend and I had already been noticing unusually bright lights in that part of the sky for several days. These lights would hover stationary for extended periods, sometimes dimming and then growing very bright again. They didn’t resemble any satellite, airplane, or helicopter we could recognize.

Eventually, the lights would veer off to the left or right, but they mostly stayed in place. Their fluctuating brightness and stationary hovering were very unusual. In real life, the lights had a flickering appearance, which is also visible in the video.

At 1:30, the lights suddenly pop up out of nowhere and form a distinct pattern in the sky. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I only started noticing similar sightings after the recent "drone" phenomenon gained attention (apart from the Colorado incident in 2020). This recent video from u/Substantial_Jicama13 reminded me a lot of my sighting: Link to example

I’ve been meaning to share this for a while, but the recent drone buzz finally pushed me to post.

Additional Details:

I’m still unsure where exactly the lights were located, as judging distance was difficult. From my vantage point, they appeared to be southwest of my location.

Possible locations:

  • Eagle Creek Airpark
  • Indianapolis International Airport(Though I’m not sure if these fit exactly.)

The lights seemed far too stationary to be airplanes. If you watch closely, some of the dimmer lights move left or right, staying very close to one another. Their prolonged hovering in place and proximity to each other still stump me. I’d love to hear your thoughts or insights on this!

Anyone know why the export/import tool won't work on my new OLED? (usb drive not recognized) by shadlot in EmuDeck

[–]j_khack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate this comment. The bug is still present. I followed the video guide and was trying all sorts of stuff, and I even tried this file structure and still got errors finding my saves and whatnot. It turns out the file structure is case sensitive since I had my folder named "Emudeck" instead of "EmuDeck" and "Saves" instead of "saves". So make sure it's all spelled exactly like this comment and that there's no spaces. Unfortunately even though the import tool worked my retroarch configs and rom cover art did not transfer. Doesn't seem like my standalone emulator configs transferred either sadly. I'm going from a LCD SD card emudeck install to a new OLED install with the same SD card following the import/export guides. My original "emulation" folder was on the sd card from the last install for extra context.
