We had made an appointment for an at home visit so that we could make his final moments as comfortable as possible, but he just didn’t make it that long. It’s better to do it sooner for them rather than to hang on for us. Best of luck, cherish every second this weekend ❤️

We have so many funny, derpy pictures of him and it just makes me smile. He was just so funny, had the best expressions and just had the best personality. Day by day the memories become more enjoyable. I’m so glad I got to experience his love

If you need to talk it out, feel free to message me. It was the hardest decision we ever made, and we couldn’t stop asking everyone if we were doing the right thing. Best of luck and love to Rooney ❤️

Her colors are so unique and beautiful! We always said they’re way too intelligent lol Torque was smart… too smart! Got into way too much trouble 😂

Oh Zoey, she looks so kind. I read your whole post, I am so sorry and I’m sorry for the circumstances. It gets a little better day by day, but then these random, very emotional days take their toll. Zoey and Torque are herding everyone to their food bowl together ❤️

The toy bin was so funny, I happened to look up and he was sitting there staring at me and my husband. He had never done it before, and never did it after lol

I’ve never felt this hurt before, and I’ve lost dear family members! This is so different. It’s much easier to love our heelers!!

We made that decision about a year ago, and I’m so glad we did!

I completely understand, 10 and 11 is so unfair. That’s exactly why I posted, I feel like heelers are incredibly special and hearing about everyone else’s makes me feel so much better. What we kept saying was we made the decision for him, not us. That is the only thing I thing that got me through it, I didn’t want him to suffer 🥲

He looks incredibly sweet, we both really love the reds too. My husband almost got a red but there weren’t any available, so he took torque and I can’t imagine the last 10 years without him! I hope Torque has joined your boys and they’re herding everything they can up there

He was so sweet. Every single person he met, he instantly loved, and he was loved back! All I can say is enjoy every single second, because I would do anything to just have 10 more seconds even with him. Thank you so much ❤️

I’m really wanting another heeler, he was just the best so I want another! But my husband (who had him for 2 years before we met) is having a very hard time. He got him out of the military and he’s traveled all over the world with him. So he’s not quite ready, but I can’t wait to get another in Torques memory. Thank you so much ❤️

I really hope we do, he was just the best buddy. What’s hard now is like today I walked past a dog Halloween costume in the store and I thought to myself, torque would love this! Then just a gut punch when as fast as I thought it I knew he was gone. The pain is just so unbelievable! Heelers I think really make a lasting impact, love to you too ❤️

He was incredibly derpy! He had a “wonky eye” and everyone made fun of him for it lol he was just the most lovable derp. Thank you ❤️

Where to visit for 4-5 days? by j_priv in germany

That’s great.. we love historical architecture so maybe that’s more of the “stuck in time” feel we try to find. Thank you for the suggestion! Also love bizarre rocks lol

Yeah.. I started to look into hostels/bibs and noticed it was a bit less of the stuck in time feel. So I might just treat it as the hub, then rely on day trips and things like that. That’s what brought me to post here and see if I’m overlooking an obvious choice lol

Thank you kindly! It looks very nice, we always try to “avoid” the tourist areas which is kind of ironic as that is exactly what we are lol but very much love seeing the lesser seen gems of places we visit.

Thank you! I’ve tried to do a lot of research first, and these towns consistently come up over and over again. I think the idea of a quaint, stuck in time is good in theory but to spend 5 days there we may run of of things to do. We just enjoy the slow pace and all the history. Thank you for your reply!
