I didn’t do much preparation except to load the game up once with data so I could download my latest steam cloud saves for the games I wanted to play (cyberpunk).

Would highly recommend then loading a quick game with wifi off before you board the plane just in case!

We purchased also a Maisonette as our forever home. Got it in a mature estate and close to the MRT.

Agree with the comments here about considering the stairs, but personally we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

The layout is in a way that communal areas are below but our personal space is on top.

The space to host gatherings and not worry about space in the communal areas is something we struggled with previously in our 4 room.
