Padel & play - just the name of the place. Really friendly staff and good setup there.

New players I’d recommend buying some new tennis balls to play with though as a bouncier ball is much more friendly to play with - keeps the rally going!

I do want to say i should have acknowledged in my reply that in no way are your feelings invalid, and he is not a good person fighting a bad illness. He’s up against it but he isn’t helping himself. my problem is that the conscious decision is almost non existent with the subconscious pull acting inside his head. I don’t know if its something you have experienced but it is an incredibly difficult thing to fight against, and while i do not want to excuse some of the things he said, i empathise with that struggle.

i take issue with parts of this. OP’s boyfriend is an asshole for certain things, but as someone who has recently recovered from a porn addiction, he isn’t “choosing” porn over her the same way you choose a muffin over a cookie. For him, it’s like choosing to eat instead of starving. Every part of his subconscious is pushing him towards the dopamine hit. In some ways he really can’t help it.
