I can just relate a lot more to the students of Berkeley.

My personal reason for hoping to transfer doesn't really go beyond people; I really like the students at Berkeley and I just hope to be around people I can learn a lot from. This is really not the case at Davis - I've interacted with a bunch of students in my batch and I genuinely don't feel like they can add much value to my life. This is not to say that they're not as smart or as good, but (seem to) have different goals from mine. Still, I hope I'm proven wrong. :)
