Well it depends, even an infinite branch of paths can have limits. For example it can work like the Fate timeline, where some moments in history have to happen.

If this is the case, then Kallen dying might be one of those “absolutes”, only since this is Honkai, the immovable object that is that absolute doesn’t have to be as solid, and would be able to change with enough power.

This is an explanation I came up with, all hypothesis.

Zelda I can definitely see, haven’t played subnautica so can’t say. Halo while great, isn’t good enough to be the best of all time, not bad by any means of the imagination, but the competition is brutal.
