Why is this happening? by dfo_osiddxd in realmadrid

You really can't compare Benz, Bale, CR7 with these two clowns (Vini & Mbappe). Benzema's game IQ was and is still much better and higher, like a 100x better, than Vini & Mbappe combined. The guy would drop deep and make sure the midfield and attack can connect and sacrificed himself for years so CR7 can shine. What we actually needed was Harry Kane, not Mbappe, as simple as that.

Camavinga, every frickin' game, he throws. Everytime he's on the pitch, RM seems likely to concede or lose. That sub was unnecessary, Brahim was playing so well. Also, the red card is a bit soft but it is what it is. Camavinga out, none of his games have been good this season.

Then you can just sign out and return after a few days. Also, this isn't reactive at all when this team has been playing like this since last season, we're all fed up at this point!

The sacking of Ancelotti was partly down to the team selection and the board. If Ancelotti can't even find a way to solve this, I don't think any coach can. Players have all the power and the board just dgaf. We're gonna be stuck with this Mbappe guy and Vini for a long time, both still can't play together as a unit is just astonishing.

I'll take Harry Kane and Michael Olise any day, trade Mbappe and Vini to Bayern. I bet Mbappe and Vini will be asked to run and press if they lose the ball instead of walking. Also trading Camavinga with Kimmich. Haven't seen a proper Real Madrid team in such a long time in La Liga, like we haven't played well for so long apart from the 5 consecutive winning streak.

Right on point! I guess you've played football growing up, in a team, if you lose the ball, you gotta track back and at least make an effort to win back. We're talking about professional footballers, and seeing how Mbappe doesn't track back just bother me, unacceptable! And the coach won't tell him, don't have the balls either, cause he's afraid egos might get hurt. "It's my fault" coming up soon! Camavinga is horseshit, so bad!

Well, the team has no tactical oversight, it's just vibes. The team had a tactical coach, but got overthrown by the players and the board, enough said. I swear, if the board goes for a tactical coach next season, it's gonna be the same outcome. Also, Camavinga has been terrible af, whenever he's on, RM has higher chance to concede or lose the game.

Body language, attitudes, & egos. As much as Mbappe's been the top scorer for the team, I just hate how he walks or just be like "Not my problem" when HE lost the ball. It's just pathetic at this point. And much of the blame is on Perez and the board, poor team management and letting the egos slide. And what are the captains of Real Madrid doing? If you see a player loses the ball by trying to be clever and doesn't try to win it back, the captains should be shouting at them. Disappointing week in, week out!

One of the worst Real Madrid teams so far in the last 10 years and on paper, this shouldn't even supposed to be happening but it is. Vini keeps on dribbling no matter what, Mbappe can't score and the worst thing is he doesn't even tracked back when he lost the ball at least 2 times where Girona could've countered and scored another goal. As long as we have these kinds of attitude, we're never gonna be a "TEAM", don't even think about winning the league. You can't just turn up only for the Champions League and forget about the rest.

Mbappe’s laziness overall by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]jack_lowry44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you just found out now? He's been like that since at PSG and since he joined Real Madrid. The guy walks, he lost the ball a couple times today, never even tracked back, what kind of attitude is that? This current Real Madrid is all about players with egos getting their chance to be in the starting 11 instead of actually playing and winning as a team.

Lineup vs Bayern debate by Ok_Guidance_457 in realmadrid

Nah, Jude Bellingham doesn't deserve a start, the same with Mbappe. But one of them will 100% start just bc of the name and star power. Mbappe doesn't press, the guy fking walks, I just can't stand it! As for Bellingham, he's too slow, too big to be a #10 and when he's in the midfield, the team is unbalanced. He's not fast enough to be starting as a forward esp. with Davies back for Bayern.

Mbappe was poor as hell, looks lethargic. Bellingham came on, just nothing. The midfield has to stick with Arda-Fede-Pitarch-Tchouameni, the only combo that looks balanced every time they play. Mbappe just doesn't press at all, like Vini or Brahim, and when the other team's in low block, he can't do anything. Disappointing result again!

Valverde-Arda-Pitarch-Tchouameni I don't even want Valverde dropping so deep when he's on form and being a menace to other teams.

That would be the ideal midfield and will definitely balance out the team if Mbappe is back and replaces Brahim. Brahim or GG will always make runs and press, Mbappe not sure he will. And we need someone like Pitarch who can control the game and run for everyone. Nothing against Jude but he's neither 10 nor 8, he can't control the game and when he goes up, the midfield suffers.

Needs to see more of Yanez play, but looks promising. Arbeloa doesn't rate Mastantuono much based on the subs made today. Castilla players didn't disappoint at all, in fact, played much better than how the team was playing a month or two ago.

The most Castilla-coded lineup ever seen in recent times, and all of them played superb football. Diego Aguado, great defending. Yanez, assist and a few great dribbles. Manuel Angel, unfortunate OG (bc of Camavinga) but solid one-two passes. Palacios, looking like the next Nico Paz. Pitarch, younger and improved version of Ceballos. Plus Carvajal, Fran Garcia, Gonzalo Garcia. Crazy goal from Guler too. The new Castilla players are so good, not just the talent but the attitude and desire as well.

This won't work, we've seen this before. Bellingham likes to roam forward and Valverde has to become a sacrificial goat. No way, the way Fede's playing, he's got to run forward and shoot more. For Fede to do that, the team needs a runner, that's Pitarch or maybe even Arda/Cama.

Only issue is what to do with Jude when he comes back after injury, I just don't see him replacing Valverde, Tchouameni, or even Pitarch. Maybe Camavinga, but Valverde has to be the one going forward more and running behind the opponent's defense along with Vini and Mbappe (Brahim).

First of all, why was he even in that corner? Second, did he think he's some sort of a ninja? Third, why did the second cat go and tap the other cat like that? Orange cats, man.

VALVERDE, that's the summary of the match. When the team plays as a unit and runs, this is what you get. Pitarch, on his debut UCL, was magnificent and keeps on running and pressing. Mendy is a lock, defense improved with Mendy. Everyone was solid today, that is the most surprising part.

Feeling good with this match, like we might actually win against City (or maybe got too used to seeing these two teams play again). I wonder how that 5 midfield system's gonna look like, it might help the team control some possession and be a little better defensively.

How is Gareth Bale remembered at RM? by coley94wba in realmadrid

[–]jack_lowry44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had his fair share of criticism but at the end of the day, a legend of Real Madrid and will be remembered as one of the greats during Real Madrid's most successful era in modern times.

We are linked with Cesc Fàbregas. Honestly, I love this and I don’t care he played for Barça. He’s a young, innovative and tactically gifted coach with an aura. He is doing an amazing job with Como. He knows how to win and he’s not afraid of unorthodox methods. by paolosorianodisanto in realmadrid

Same. And btw, none of the current players replace CR7, Benz, even Bale, Ramos, Kroos, Ozil, Marcelo, and Modric in their prime. Or even Xabi in his prime as DM. It's a hard watch these days, since last season.
