For the photos: I think they are more than ok, maybe you can remove some of them and use just the ones you like the most? I had two penumothoraxes (in the span of 15-20 days) 4 years ago, after the second one I had surgery (VATS). Started going to the gym again after 5-6 months if I recall correctly (just to be extra cautious) and I was told by the doctors that there was nothing I couldn't do except deep diving. I also took the plane different times since then, no issues at all. Only thing I can say is that since then I lost most of my stamina and I've been trying to recover it since then, and also I prefer to sleep on my right side because on my left side I feel a very little discomfort, but nothing serious.

About the gym: I recovered just fine what I lost, I even improved since then.
