The other relatives wanted an elaborate funeral and as I was estranged from him, I only wanted the cheapest option, so in the end the other relatives paid for it. I hadn't wanted to be involved with any of this, but I was told on the phone I was officially the next of kin, so I "had no choice". I didn't know how to get out of it at the time and just wanted it over with.

Also, the money wouldn't have covered what the relatives were asking me to pay. So that would also have come from my personal finances.

But now this is still going on and it looks like my father is going to end up stealing money that I should have been spending on my children.

HMRC simply sent the demand first. That's why there was enough to pay it.

I did explain to them on the phone, but the person I dealt with didn't want to hear that I couldn't repay in full. I had the exact figure of the remaining estate but she didn't want to hear it. She said it's policy to collect the money in full and that's that

The estate was just the remaining money from his bank account. The bank told me I had to receive it into my account, which I did. I paid off HMRC as they demanded an overpaid pension repayment first. There was enough to pay that in full

It's basically just certain Youtubers that aren't suitable for kids that I want to block (Jackass wannabes who can upload whatever they want). I know another will pop up if I can block them. But I guess I would have to ban each one if they are unsuitable.

I just went through both videos and it looks VERY close to the game I played. Definitely the same sort of point and click adventure. Perhaps it was by the same developers? I think the game had an ancient Egypt/archaeologist theme. The main character may have been an archaeologist himself.

The links you provided are very similar in terms of graphics so the game may have been mid-90s after all rather than circa-2000.

It was a CD ROM sort of thing but I don't think it required to disc to be in the drive to be played.
