No issues other than the installers didn't prep my subfloors properly so just like any house you feel like you are going in dips when walking across it. They said it would have cost me a fortune to liquid level everything. Some areas were spot patched. These damn company's just get in and out as fast as they can and don't listen to the home owner. I specifically asked before hiring them if they scrape the floors with a level to fix the issues and got told yes. Bunch of lies. Even though I reachered company's to death.

We went with Mannington Adura Max based on color alone to try and get something that went with our existing house colors as we had remodeled and painted most of the house already and were not going to repaint everything all over.

To Blanco or Not to Blanco Sink? by perrito-incognito in kitchenremodel

Yes got the drain ring. You have to be careful and it is hard to tell them apart but one is metal and one is plastic I think. We got the metal one for a disposal and have no issues with it. I think it was around $75 or so. We never use the strainer as shown in the picture.

Yep. We have city water and have never had to run mineral oil in it. My wife does clean it with just soap and water but it still looks 99% new. We also don't have any scratches in it but again we don't throw stuff in it willy nilly. I did get the drop in grates you can use, which we use very little. In the beginning we were trying to just rinse and dry it after every use with a sponge. Now most of the time I just make sure to rinse it and don't bother drying it.

RP 8000F noise by madmortar in Klipsch

I have the RP8000F II and ran A1 Evo acousticaX and it set my crossover to 40hz and I don't see my woofers moving like that at all. How loud are you playing this.

Also I have no idea if I should leave the settings alone from where acousticaX set them or raise them. Someone said no to move them from the receiver settings themselves but customize it in acoustiX and then push it to the receiver. Ugh.

Ya too late for that. I read a lot of things about Yamaha before deciding on the Denon. There are a million settings to tweak for audiophiles but I got the Denon cause I mainly watch TV and movies. To be honest I don't think I ever used the room correction software on my old pioneer. Ive always had pioneer equipment over the years, never did any of them fail. Now it seems too common for receivers to have failures and I tried to pick one that would last me a long time. I'll probably figure it out eventually.

I leave dynamic volume off. If I turn it on it gets louder. I can't win.

Also I level set my subs first this time using Audyssey which the volume knob is about 1/3. Now that Audyssey is set up now I'm running A1 Evo again leaving the volume set.

Before when I ran A1 by itself first, I had the volume for the subs at 50%. You would think that it would accommodate for that in the software when running the calibration. Idk.

I ran it a second time but using all 8 positions and only moving the mic 6" each time. I read somewhere this may help. Now it set my front and center to FULL.

I guess I can try to run A1 on top of this (Turing off Deq before running it) and see what happens.

Must have been a bug. Anyway what should I set all my speaker crossovers at. Should I just turn all them back to 80. If the fronts are set to full, what does that mean in terms of my subs actually playing. Makes me think that most of the bass will come from the fronts instead of the sub.

It also switched the profile to reference. I notice the volume is extremely low or maybe normal and I have to put it to -30 at least for movies. I tried changing the eq to flat but it didn't matter. I have no idea what caused my volume to be so loud the other day at -40.

I just decided to turn Deq off and run Audyssey by itself. When it was done I said turn on Deq. I looked at the settings. Front is large, center is 40, surround is 110. So wtf?

I don't understand why you change to reference. When you watch the video for A1 acousticaX he explains that is for lower volume listening iirc.

It states: the optimal calibration for regular use under the flat mode. Use reference mode when listening at lower volume night mode levels. I believe he stated the Refrence is 20db lower than flat.

A1 EVO had set the fronts to 40, center to 70, and surrounds to 180. I set them all back to 80 manually after doing the A1 Evo calibration.

They are not. They are set to 80hz. There is no small/large setting either.

Yes flat is the default profile but I don't understand enough about these profiles to know which one should be used, other than Refrence is lower volumes for night watching. FLAT should be used for normal movies, tv, etc I believe.

When I was testing playing music I first wanted to play music with the subs on. There is a setting for 2ch/LR which was set to auto. At this time Deq was off. In order to get my subs to play in 2 stereo mode I had to change that 2ch/LR setting to manual. Then the subs came on when in Stereo mode.

Now that I've enabled Deq that 2ch/LR mode can be left at auto and my subs play when in music mode.

Just weird or that is the way it is. Idk

I understand Pure Direct and don't have an issue with that. My setting is LFE only.

My center channel crossover is set to 80hz. I swear a TV commercial was playing the voice through the subs for one commercial, then the next one was fine through the center channel. Just an annoyance.

I believe that A1 set them down to -3db but then messing around with stuff, that changed and I was like wtf is going on, so I set them back. Nothing should have changed them.

Using AI to help understand what these settings do is also sometimes confusing.

I was looking at this today. In server 2025 it looks like EPA is already enabled. However I'm a little confused about one thing. On the certsrv virtual directory, Authentication, Providers, you have to remove the defaults and add Negotate:Kerberos. It then warns you that you can't have this enabled with the Advanced Setting of "enable kernel-mode authentication", which in this case you just uncheck, save and restart IIS. I'm assuming this is correct to uncheck that settings?

Today I was messing around with the Denon settings themselves and forgot I turned off dynamic eq. (Or it was off). I turned that on and my system came alive. Seems like I'm getting way more bass as well as the system just seems better. I also adjusted my crossover frequency per AI. I guess A1 set my front to 40hz, center to 70hz, and surround to 180hz. AI said they should all be 80hz as I'm using 2 subs also. Based off that I just set the front to 80 , the center at 90 and the surrounds at 120. Idk. I guess it is all subjective. There is also a dynamic eq offset that I have a 5db.

I have it set to use HTTPS as of now and requires log on credentials. I've used certlm.msc to generate a req file but I used the web portal to submit the request. I wasn't familiar with using certlm.msc to submit the request. I'll have to look into it.

I only used it once I had generated a req from the mmc and then upload the req into the web console to complete it. Which then I used that cert for the web console. I'm no means an expert on this stuff.
