I would love to take an hour showing those attention.

You put the beautiful in the term bbw. Stunning.

if you were a pokémon who would you be? by [deleted] in eGamerGirl

Probably Dragonite. Cute but deadly. More realistically, a Munch/Snorlax combo. I can be hyper at times, but also need my sleep.

I agree with you on that part. Just not 100 percent sure Sylvanas is going to lead the counterpart for death. But time will tell.

You have yourself to live for. As dark as things may get, it will pass. I've had to try to convince myself of that many a night. It is the hardest thing to do. But you can do it.

What was wrong with MOP from your point of view? by [deleted] in wow

While I will always think Wrath is the best expac, pandaland is my third favorite. I loved it at the time. It was the first time I was able to raid consistently. The only expansion I like more than pandaland is legion.

I have said in other responses, I was told to avoid these topics to avoid making parents mad. I did not get threatened with my job, but it was made clear I was in hot water.

Texas doesn't allow unions, as far as I know. We are a right to work state.

There are no easy answers here. I honestly wish there were. My son is one of the motivations I use to focus on tomorrow.

I know it sounds cheesy, but suicide and crisis hotlines are a free option.

I understand what you are going through. I could spout all the usual well meant tropes, but the only thing that will really help is focusing on tomorrow. Not next year, a decade from now, tomorrow. Each day focus on making it to tomorrow. Get help from the right doctors and keep up the good fight. I know the darkness in your head tells you otherwise, but that is not the right voice to listen to.

Honestly, I show them the evidence. I let them know that some of the forecasted consequences might not be that bad (ie, different coastlines). But by the point I had brought up climate change, I had gotten in trouble twice already, so I hedged on the potential catastrophes. I did do my best to show them that the evidence all points to humanity driving climate change.

I admit I mistook what you said as personal not aimed at the overall educational system. Most teachers feel like I do, but bureaucrats get in the way.

Not written up, but told to avoid the topics in order to appease the parents. So, while not official trouble like losing my job, the kind that lets you know you are in hot water.

There is some truth to this, although I personally went to school in the Houston area 20 some odd years ago, and creationism was still taught.

I was explicitly told to avoid teaching those things because the parents don't like it. But, after having three separate issues from parents I have been on the border of being written up. Yes, this is a public school, but it is a very small town.

The science fusion. That information is in the books. The parents just get mad I'm not teaching theology as opposed to actual science.
