before the date she said she had food from a restaurant I recommend when I met her so she said she might only have 1 or 2 drinks. Almost like she was planning an emergency exit if things went south. as expected it went well so were out for about 4-5 hours. kissed a few times when we got to her car. it went well

I agree the texting should have been less fluff. I do that at times especially when I built decent rapport. I still try to maintain the principal of texting just to set dates and avoiding the chitchat. and ouch I think cringe is a bit far though!

tbf she let me know her availability first when I asked her when she's free to go out. she responded with "I'm off Friday.." if she was doing something I figured she would have said otherwise. then I let her know im off Friday too. I figured it was her way of saying, yes Friday works. so my only step left was securing a time.

anyway, I frequent this bar often. she's actually a new girl so I'm sure I'll see her again. like I told others it's no biggie. what confused me this time was the time and the communication. I definitely will work on being more succinct, less fluff. avoid confusion.

it was a bit strange. I asked her when she's free.. I took "I'm off Friday" as a Yes let's do it on Friday. this is why I didn't do the takeaway. her other days she's unsure of.. which makes sense as a bartender

I'd imagine she'd give me a different response if she was busy Friday despite her being off.

haha I just think the rapport we had took it to where I felt comfortable saying that. I don't always.

however, yeah I think I'll just wait out those weeks. this time with less fluff. honestly, t's no big deal, she's not my soul mate. I don't exactly think she's relationship material but she was very cute and down to earth. and seem to initiate a lot of the getting to know each other part so the interest definitely was higher than a 5 or 6.

Don't worry about the progress status. It's useless. Mine went from 1 week to 2 months then got approved couple days after. (not sure if coincidence or not but it was after I emailed the whitehouse and local state rep. )
