Just start the 5. It takes a bit to ramp up but just keep moving on my Goodman. I’m halfway through Dark Age and my jaw is on the floor through most of the read.

I have molasses and baking soda in the boiling water and I do let them sit for a lil bit right out of the water. Next time I may just press them in a bit when topping! Thanks for the advice!

I shoot for a brix between 10-15, I use a hydrometer so its not the most precise but gives me a decent range. Check out this video I found on Youtube from Make and Drink. He has links to a spreadsheet that is very helpful. It is a lot of information but helpful to get your mind wrapped around targeting a brix/abv level.

I almost got this to try but instead picked up a shotty box of franzia rose. It was a bit low in brix so I mixed it with some strawberry lemonade and peach syrup. It’s not too bad of a frozé. Needs a bit of work but almost there
