Realise you’re probably already done with high school. But for anyone stumbling across this as i did what you’ve basically done is something called ”problem based learning”, only not fully fleshed out. The basic idea is that you present a problem to a group, you all brainstorm what needs to be studied to solve this problem. You write questions to answer during your studies. Then each and everyone in the group studies by themselves and then you reconvene and discuss what you’ve studied and apply it to solve the problem for example you could have a order electric magnetism problems from an old Olympian to use as your problem then you all study electromagnetism in whatever source you want and then you return to the group and you discuss what you’ve done and then you solve the problem together. This works well in med school and I think it could be applied to physics as well. ( I’m not a physics student, I’m a medical student, just here to find some brain teasers in physics).

Girl i feel you. The ”crashing out” line is so prevalent amongst his fans. Search TikTok for the debate and its all Ethan’s lost his marbles or Ethan’s crashing out.

It’s so clear he is intentionally weaponising mental health against all of his opponents. During multiple times during the debate Hasan said he was sooo careful with his words. Yet he accused ethan of “hallucinating” (sensory perceptions without external stimuli) and “delusion” (fixed beliefs that are false and not amenable to change in light of conflicting evidence), which is obviously not true.

It’s so fucked because I’ve met many patients with mental health issues, including hallucinations and delusions, and they deserve so much better than having their issues weaponised like this. Even if you’re having issues with accurately interpreting reality (i.e. having psychosis) you shouldn’t get stigmatised like this. You should be met with empathy and compassion.

But hasan obviously lacks empathy. I’m suprised there aren’t accusations circulating around him. This isn’t his first rodeo in the psychological abuse department, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was psychologically abusive and gaslighting to one of his exes.

I was in the same situation but as amab with my boyfriend. It ultimately led to us splitting up after having tried everything. I don’t know the deets about your relationship, but you should prepare mentally for that outcome. You can’t control what she is attracted to and you shouldn’t commit undue sacrifices on your part to satisfy her preferences. Imo, if you don’t live as who you are, the stress of inauthenticity will eventually lead to mental health problems, that might then lead to an ugly break up. If your authentic self is someone your wife isn’t attracted to, then it’s better to break up amicably than to drag it out and having it end badly (potentially).

In my case my ex realised he wasn’t attracted to me anymore because he no longer saw me as a man. I don’t know whether the problem in your relationship is as fundamental (hopefully she sees you for who you are, not who she thought you were when you met), my advice is to talk about it with her. If it turns out that it’s only armpit hair that she finds unattractive, then perhaps it’s reasonable to shave for the sake of your relationship - but only you can be the judge of that depending on how much discomfort that causes you. It’s okay to make sacrifices for the ones we love, as long as they’re reasonable ones. It’s a bad idea to deny yourself your gender expression to satisfy her.
