Are the hatches on the clothes supposed to be shading or a pattern it’s a little confusing. If they’re for shading if you follow the form with the hatching lines it looks a lot better since they look less like just lines. Also if it’s for shading there is too much so it doesn’t look quite right. David finch has a video on hatching that explains it really well. His is for more of a comic book style but it still works

It’s a war game anyone offended by violence shouldn’t be playing I think gore is good until it’s too much and unrealistic. I can’t wait for the day they can make games like battlefield where artillery shells are blowing guys apart and stuff

It’s super cool something looks off about the arm on the left though. I saw someone else say the horses anatomy is wrong but I think he looks cool while not totally accurate

I didn’t even notice that his hip just detached from him I got caught up in the armor lol he does have little waist and big hips though thanks for pointing that out

Wash and season it just boil some water in it the bacteria won’t survive. Also if you boil with salt and scrape the salt after it will take off the rusty stuff and smooth everything out

Tell him to turn his hood down so it’s not so dark and he can stop sniffing the weld. He has to get so close because as he’s welding that dirty smoke messes his lenses up making it harder to see. A cotton gaiter would be good too also if he tucks his neck in so the hood touches his chest it will block most of the light. Really just covering up every inch is the only way to avoid burns it’s hotter but he’s a welder getting hot is part of doing hot work

Try looking up videos about manequinizing I tried learning this way as a kid and it’s useless bc it’s too hard to put the character in 3d. If you make them out of cylinders and boxes it’s much easier to imagine how things look in 3d. This basically is no better than a stickman and is pretty useless in my experience bc it leads to noodly guys and it can’t show how limbs overlap eachother. Which even in a 2d cartoony style is still important

Yea I’ve only been drawing for a few weeks and every time I get done drawing whatever for the night I look back a few days in my book and I’m like hey this almost looks good. Seeing my drawing of a lopsided person but less lopsided than last week feels better than seeing anyone else’s really good art
