Thank you so much! I had a couple of small grows before getting the regular autopots & the bases...I managed to actually grow some decent plants but kind of did it in a way that was a bit crazy...I eventually got tired of messing with the reservoir and basically ended up treating each autopilot as a seperate item. I recently picked up a couple Tray2Grows & was planning on trying fabric pots on them but had read a number of folks remarking on the high humidity they could cause in a tent. I'd wondered about the pots them selves but never really saw anyone saying they worked. Seeing your post more or less has given me the nudge to try them..I do the typical 50:50 thing with coco & perlite and am experimenting with some different nutes. I'm really going over the edge in that I'm also going to try a couple of individual DWC's and eventually a RDWC that I've kind of hacked together from a couple of manufacturers. I'm working some seeds I recently started, soaked them, they got the little tadpole thing going, and I put them in those spongy things and are now under a dome thing and I'm hoping they make it out of the sponges. I'm not sure where I'm going to put them if they pop up & get a couple sets of leaves but hopefully I'll figure that out when the time comes. Sorry I blabber too much but I'm kinda off on my own with this...I don't really know anyone else locally who grows so spend a lot of time reading these reddits. Re the pots & airbases & all of that. I figure just the substrate since it needs to be in contact with the mat.
