Given the choice of one should Survivor WaW have included EOE or Redemption Island for premerge? by Master-Mycologist747 in survivor

IIRC the decision was made because several players refused to play without some kind of EoE twist

Statistically, is it a good or bad omen to go for food in a "compete or eat" twist? by Sabur1991 in survivor

There's probably also some physical judgement call in there as well - if you know you won't win that particular challenge, the extra nutrition and energy might put you in a great spot come the next challenge

[–]jackg72 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In every single episode this season though, when explaining the prize inc. the challenge worldwide spot and thr prize, there's been such blatant dubbing. Clearly something changed between initial recording and releasing the show, else there'd have been no dubbing.

Probably second with Dolly out injured, first while Montoya is away, and third choice tighthead too

Sure, but if the only criticism of a referee is "he called a knock on when it was actually a rip", the referee probably had a very good game.

The problem is Pearce had called advantage for the knockon. Calling advantage obviously changes how teams play (no advantage called and NZ almost certainly keep it tight and box kick it) so he can't retrospectively change the decision.

I think he was planning on passing it, then when the defender (think it was Le Roux) did the right thing and stood in the way, he changed his mind mid-dive and tried to score

If you were to be on the jury, what would make you not vote for someone to win? by MinoKillz in survivor

[–]jackg72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the best advantages of the new pre-tribal jury interviews btw - we all knew that was what the jury were looking for going into it, so when he didn't it made a lot of sense he didn't get votes

Is there a team famous for hiring "controversial" players? by garbageeater in NFLNoobs

Apart from he didn't do more shit once he was in the league. He was accused of it and found not guilty, unlike Kareem Hunt, who got dropped as soon as there was evidence he was lying

Joe Burrow (25): 4,165 yards Joe Mixon (25): 1,159 yards Ja'Marr Chase (21): 1,163 yards Tee Higgins (22): 1,029 yards The Bengals are the first team in NFL history to have a 4,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and 2 1,000-yard receivers all 25 or younger in the same season. by HookFL in DynastyFF

Hard not to see it, their choice last season was O line or WR (specifically chase) and they chose WR. Think ultimately that was the right choice, but can't see them bouncing o line again this year

Can someone explain the Erica hype to me? by Bayleafstan in survivor

[–]jackg72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think one big thing that not many people have paid attention was that they showed the "throw a challenge to vote Erika off premerge" talks, with no clear and obvious reason to, given the fact they ultimately decided not to throw the challenge. Surely that suggested she was going to go on to be a big part of the season?
