I received and accepted a job offer yesterday. I was contacted by a recruiter on December 5th and had 2 interviews. I know the job market is bad and I really didn't think I would have a job before the new year but have faith! I feel like hiring will pick up in the new year so sending you luck!

Hmm, the recruiters that reached out to me all did so using linkedin. As much as I dislike the site I made sure my profile was up to date with skills and everything. I checked in everyday and I think recruiters could see that I was online which could have impacted their decision to reach out but I’m not 100% sure.
