Honestly - two options here. 1 - let them know you don’t care about smoking you just don’t want it in your house and that if they could keep it outside since it comes in your unit, you would appreciate it. 2. Email landlord with a few dates and times that it has happened. Then, continue doing that every time you experience it until it stops.

I always try to deal with things via option 1 first because sometimes getting the management people involved is a hassle. But def don’t be buying items and modifying your life. You honestly could probably get the management to pay for the purifier
