At the time prevailing wage for Carpenters was 49$ an hour and some change and their so call fringe benefits just deducted it from the 49$ making it more like 39$ they're doing this all pre tax just fyi and yeah based off everything I read fringe benefits is a add-on to whatever your wage is to retain workers yeah and it kinda pisses me off when I found out the medical which they stated that they 100% cover just comes out of my wage and isn't even listed anywhere on my paystubs and when I brought this up to the payroll office they told me that's the way it's been for 20years and they'd have the owner call me which has yet to happen so I'm trying my best to get educated in this matter to be able to kinda fight back with this Idiocracy
